The Planning and Zoning Commission was formed pursuant to Alabama Code. The Commission is made up of nine members and appointed by the Mayor and City Council. Terms for appointees is six years. There general purpose is to adopt a Comprehensive Plan for the City. The Planning & Zoning Commission meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall.
