| The Abbeville Senior Citizens Center provides the highest quality recreational, social and supportive services to mature adults. It is the goal of the center to foster a warm environment where individuals can explore and enjoy activities and services designed to meet the needs and enrich the lives of Abbeville’s diverse older adult population.Our center, built in 2004 has become the hub of activity for Abbeville seniors. The center provides daily activities, services and programs for seniors 50 years of age and older. If necessary, the Abbeville Senior Citizens van can offer transportation to the Abbeville Senior Center.Please call and ask the Senior Center Director for details on meal programs, activities, services and medical screenings. The ladies from the Retired Senior Volunteer Program donated a handmade Grandma’s Flower Garden quilt to Abbeville Senior Center. Abbeville Senior Center would like to thank Ethal Culver, Katherine Patterson, Viole McClaster, Alice Washington, Dean Turner, Roselane Brummett, Lanele Brummett, Atta Mae Lynn for each stitch with love that was put into this beautiful quilt.
